Tenuta Rocca Wine Dinner at Napolita Northbrook

Explore the Wines of Piedmont at an Exclusive Wine Dinner
On Thursday, May 14, Napolita Pizzeria & Wine Bar invites guests to an exclusive wine dinner featuring the acclaimed wines of Tenuta Rocca, a fourth-generation, family-owned winery from the heart of Piedmont, Italy.
Led by winemaker Andrea Ciravegna, Tenuta Rocca is recognized for its commitment to sustainable farming, natural vinification, and expressive wines that reflect the unique character of each vineyard. Throughout the evening, guests will hear directly from the winemaker while enjoying a curated multi-course dinner designed to complement each featured wine.
The evening’s lineup will showcase exceptional selections including Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba Superiore, and multiple expressions of Barolo from renowned vineyards such as Bussia and Serralunga d’Alba. Guests can expect a progression of bold, structured reds with tasting notes ranging from bright cherry and strawberry to deeper layers of vanilla, spice, and earthy complexity, highlighting both the elegance and depth of Piedmont wines.
Known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, elevated Italian cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere, Napolita Northbrook provides the perfect setting for this intimate and educational dining experience.
Whether you are an experienced wine enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable evening out, the Tenuta Rocca Wine Dinner offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions through expertly paired food and wine.
Seating is limited and advance reservations are strongly encouraged.

I really like the idea of a wine dinner being built around a specific producer rather than simply offering a generic selection of wines. Having the winemaker there also makes the evening much more interesting because you get the story behind the wines, not just tasting notes. The Tenuta Rocca dinner sounds particularly good for that reason, with the food designed around the Piedmont wines and different Barolo expressions. Portugal has plenty of opportunities for a similar food-and-wine experience, so if you’re travelling there, I’d definitely consider including a hotel outside Lisbon where you can slow down after a tasting instead of having to drive straight back into the city.
